Generating Reports

Analytics and statistics about your store are available on the Reports page, which is accessible from the Reports menu on your Admin panel.

The Reports Page

Three types of reports are available:

  1. Sales Reports
  2. Traffic Reports
  3. Other Reports

Common Operations on Reports

When generated, a report shows all available data related to it. For example, when generating a Sales by Product Title report, all sales from the time your store opened are displayed on the report window.

To Filter a Report

You may filter a report using a wide range of options, including a custom period, where you enter a date range.

To go back to the default All time filter, click the All time option again.

To Export a Report to CSV

After generating a report, you may also export it to a CSV file, particularly if you want to analyze it further. To export the report, click the Export to CSV button on the top right of the generated report.

Sales Reports

There are seven (7) sales reports, namely:

Sales by Product Title###

The Sales by Product report shows orders and gross sales per product title. Total sales are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click By Product Title to display the report.

The product title on the Sales by Product report is clickable. When you click it, the Details page for the product is displayed on another browser window or tab.

Sales by Product Collection###

The Sales by Product Collection report shows orders and gross sales per product collection.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click By Product Collection to display the report.

Orders by Month###

The Sales by Month report shows orders and gross sales per month. Total sales for the period covered are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click Orders by Month to display the report. A sample Sales by Month report is shown below.

Orders by Hour###

The Sales by Hour report breaks down your orders and gross sales by hour. Total orders and gross sales are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.

Orders by Location###

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.

The Sales by Customer report breaks down your orders and gross sales per customer. Total orders and gross sales are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click Orders by Customers to display the report.

NOTE

The customer names and email addresses shown on the Orders by Customer report are clickable. Clicking a customer's name opens up the corresponding Customer Details page on another browser window or tab. Clicking the email address opens up an empty message on your default email client program, with the email address already displayed on the Sender field. You can use this to send an email directly to the customer.

Orders by Traffic Source###

The Sales by Traffic Source report shows orders and gross sales per referring URL. Total orders and gross sales are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click Orders by Traffic Source to display the report.

Traffic Reports

Traffic reports allow you to analyze where traffic to your store is coming from.

There are four traffic reports, namely:

Traffic by Referrer###

The Traffic by Referrer report shows the number of unique visitors per referring URL. Total number of visitors are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click by Referrer to display the report.

Taxes###

The Taxes report shows the details of the amount of tax collected from orders in each Country, and the State or Province, if applicable, within that country. Total orders and amount of taxes collected are shown on the bottom row.

  1. On your Admin panel, click Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click Taxes to display the report.

Payment Methods###

The Payment Methods report show orders and gross sales per payment method. Total number of orders and the amount of gross sales are shown on the bottom row.
