Gift cards for sale on your store are set up on your Admin panel via Products>Gift cards for sale.

Adding Gift Cards

Clicking Products>Gift cards for sale displays an empty Gift Cards for Sale page, if you do not have a gift card set up on your store yet. Otherwise, you will see a list of all your gift cards on the page.

To start adding your first gift card, see To Add Your First Gift Card.

To Add Your First Gift Card###

1. On the Gift Cards for Sale page, click the Add a a gift card for sale button at the bottom.

2. On the Sell a gift card page, enter the value of the gift card.
3. By default, gift cards do not have an expiration date, but you may select one if you want.
4. Enter a title for the gift card.

Value and title are required while expiration date and collections are not

5. Optionally, you can select a collection on your store to which the gift card can be applied. You can choose as many selections as you want.
6. Enter the details and terms for the gift card. Use the rich text editor to format the details and terms any way you want. You can even use HTML for your details and terms.

7. Click the button on the right, then select an image that will be displayed with the gift card on your computer. Alternatively, you may drag-and-drop the image from your computer.

8. To help improve the gift card's SEO rankings, under the SEO section at the bottom of the Sell a gift card page, you can edit the page title, which defaults to the gift card title. You can also edit the URL and handle (which is automatically generated from the gift card title), and enter an optional meta description.
9. Click Publish to save the record and display the gift card on your store.
   A message appears after a successful save. You are then taken back to the Gift cards for sale page, where you can see the gift card you just added.

To Add More Gift Cards###

The steps for adding more gift cards to your store are essentially the same as the steps for adding your first gift card (see To Add Your First Gift Card), except that you click the Add Gift Card button on the top right of the Gift cards for sale page.

Editing a Gift Card

1. On your Admin panel, click Products>Gift cards for sale.
2. On the Gift cards for sale page, click either the name of the gift card to be edited, or the Edit button to the right of the product.

3. Make your changes to the gift card, then click Save.

Saving a Gift Card as a Draft

When adding a gift card, you can save it as a draft for editing later, or if you just want it to be ready for publication at the proper time. Saving a gift card as a draft does not publish the gift card for display on your storefront.

To save a product as a draft, on the Add a gift card page, after entering the details for the gift card, click the Save draft button.

You will know a gift card is a draft if you see a Publish button to the right of the product on the Gift cards for sale page.

When adding a gift card, clicking Save as Draft saves the gift cards for later editing. You can publish draft gift cards at any time.

To Publish a Draft Gift Card###

1. On your Admin panel, click Products>Gift cards for sale.
2. On the Gift cards for sale List, look for the draft gift card you want to publish. You will know a gift card is a draft if you see a Publish button to the right, in between the Edit and Delete buttons. Click the Publish button to publish the gift card to your storefront.

To Publish Multiple Draft Gift Cards###

1. On the Gift cards for sale List, check the boxes to the right of the draft products you want to publish.
2. On the top of the Gift cards for sale List, a box appears showing the number of gift cards you selected in Step 1, together with an Action box. Click the Action box, then select Publish to publish the selected draft gift cards to your storefront.

To remove a gift card from your storefront without deleting it, you need to unpublish the gift card.
###Unpublishing a Gift Card###

1. On your Admin panel, click Products>Gift cards for sale.
2. On the Gift cards for sale List, look for the gift card you want to unpublish, then click the Publish button to the right, in between the Edit and Delete buttons.

1. On your Admin panel, click Products>Gift cards for sale.
2. On the top of the Gift cards for sale List, a box appears showing the number of gift cards you selected in Step 1, together with an Action box. Click the Action box, then select Unpublish to unpublish the selected gift cards from your storefront.

Just like products, gift cards can be deleted from your storefront once you no longer need them.
###Deleting a Gift Card###

1. On your Admin panel, click Products>Gift cards for sale.
2. On the Gift cards for sale List, look for the gift card you want to delete, then click the Delete icon on the right.

1. On your Admin panel, click Products>Gift cards for sale.
2. On the top of the Gift cards for sale List, a box appears showing the number of gift cards you selected in Step 1, together with an Action box. Click the Action box, then select Delete to delete the selected gift cards from your storefront.

Both published and draft gift cards can be deleted at the same time.
